Kolderveen. Hier woon ik. Drie maanden, niet langer, maar nu is nu en ik ben hier. Dit is Drenthe, het land is plat en het afgelopen weekend was de wind ongenadig. Gisteren sneeuw. Vandaag aardappels met winterpostelein, gekocht bij de biologische boer een paar huizen verderop.
Kolderveen. This is where I live. Three months, not more, but now is now and I am here. This is the province Drenthe, the land is flat and last weekend the wind showed no mercy. Yesterday it was snowing. Today I’m eating potatoes and purslane, bought at the small shop run by an organic farmer just a couple of houses down the street.
